The Friends of the Powers Memorial Library will be sponsoring this years Annual Book Sale. So, come on in for some great deals on some used books donated by the Library and the community.

ADULT COLORING

Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Join us at the Library for some Adult Coloring. What better way to de-stress and have a bit of fun than by coloring.

CLASSIC MOVIE NIGHT

Monday, March 13th at 5:00 p.m.

We will be showing the beloved classic, Singing in the Rain. Bring snacks and refreshments, pull up a chair, sit down and enjoy the show!

MEET & GREET

ADULT BOOK DISCUSSION

Monday, March 27th at 6:00 p.m.

We are discussing Martha Hall Kelly’s Lilac Girls, the story of three young women, a New York socialite with new love on the horizon, a Polish teenager involved in the underground resistance movement, and a young German doctor who finds herself trapped in a male-dominated realm of Nazi secrets and power. In the midst of the events of WWII, the three women’s lives are set on a collision course, and their lives are forever changed.

PINS AND NEEDLES CLUB

Attention knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, and all creative minds! The PML Pins and Needles Club meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month in the MakerSpace.
Bring your own supplies and we’ll provide the cozy atmosphere.

MINDFUL MEDITATION

Every Thursday at 6:15 p.m.

Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and qualified Meditation Instructor for more than a decade, Rebecca McAllister, will lead these workshops every Thursday evening.

COMPUTER COMFORT FOR BEGINNERS

Do your tech skills need some updating? We are here to help! We will hold these ‘Computer Comfort for Beginners’ sessions periodically throughout the year. We’ll get you set-up on a computer and assist with anything and everything from navigating the Internet,
setting-up a Facebook account or e-mail account, and more!
