General adult services of the Powers Memorial Library feature a wide selection of new fiction and non-fiction books, audio books, magazines, large-print books, DVDs, newspapers, an historical section, and an inter-library loan service. The library also offers six public computers, free Wi-Fi access, a fax machine, photocopier, a microfiche, and a public meeting room.
In addition to the many services and items available to patrons, there is also a plethora of programs for adults. Of the recurring monthly programs, the library offers a book discussion club, a recipe club, computer classes for beginners, a meditation workshop, DIY workshops in the MakerSpace, and evenings where patrons may bring their own devices to the library for help. Aside from these, there are special and highlighted events offered each month.
