Children ages 0-12, Teens ages 13-18, Adults 19 and up

Join Powers Memorial Library’s 2017 Summer Reading Program, Build a Better World! Come to the library this summer for exciting programs and activities, including our Kick-Off Ice Cream Social, Birdhouse Making event, Table Top Games, Color Your Own Greeting Cards, Family Fun Night in the park, and more! Registration begins on June 15th, and patrons of all ages may register at any time throughout the summer.

You can also participate by keeping track of your reading this summer. For every book read, you may enter your name in a raffle to win awesome prizes! Also, don’t forget to ask a librarian how you can earn a chance to win a Kindle Fire!


1st and 3rd  Wednesday of the month at 3:30 p.m.

(Ages 13-17)

Come to the MakerSpace on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month for Table Top Games. The library will provide a variety of board games. You are welcome to bring your own games as well! Open to ages 13-17.


2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 3:30  p.m.

(Ages 8-16)

Explore, create, innovate, design, and make your very own masterpiece in our MakerSpace!
