The Garden Walk binder contains useful information from past years. Something to consider for next time is sending thank you notes to those donating items for the raffle. Changing the date till later in June was also discussed.

that we voluntarily contribute to a Car Show Basket including a gas gift card, car wash gift card, car book, and gazetteer. Motion carried. Carolyn will get a gazetteer and Lori will buy a car book.
Patron of the Year: Ruth Ann Mueller was chosen for this honor. The FOL will hold
an event this fall to recognize her. Connie will check with Reyna on lettering for the plaque.
Family Fun Night: Thursday, August 9th, 5pm-8pm is the date and time when this family-friendly event will be held at the Village Park. Hot dogs, buns, bags of chips, popcorn, juice boxes, water, cookies, condiments, and napkins are all in the process of being obtained. 225 people came last year and 250 are projected to attend this year. Five giant yard games have been ordered through the Bridges Library System. Juli stated that First Citizens State Bank will give a donation. Carolyn will contact DPW & the Fire Department about bringing their equipment for viewing that night. Carolyn will also check on a karate demonstration for 5:30-6:15. The community band will be playing 6:30-7:30. The possibility of having a bouncy house or bungee activity was discussed.
