Soup Share

All Month Long | Drop In

Stop into the library anytime during the month of November to help us trim Laurel, our bay leaf tree. Then take home a few leaves to make a tasty soup and share the recipe with the library! (We even have to go containers if you want to share a little bowl of your delicious concoction with us.)

Memory Cafe: Senses of the Season

Dec 12 @11AM – 1PM

Sing & move along with The Strays Ukulele band as they play some holiday favorites. We will enjoy all the senses of the season with some holidays snacks, familiar smells, and comforting sights.

Christmas Carol Ukulele Sing-Along

Dec 15 Starting @ 1PM

Come celebrate the holidays with an afternoon of music, snacks, and good company!

Back by popular demand … the ukulele band!! Joining us will be Deb on piano and Irene on guitar.

On-Going Programs

The following FREE events happen every month at our library! There’s something every week at the library! Whether it is an educational presentation, a fun kids event, or a community collaborative program, we have it all at Powers Memorial Library.

D n D | Dungeons and Dragons

Dragons and owlbears and caverns, oh my! Join us for an on-going D&D journey. We will embark week after week on epic quests and adventures. Beginners welcome. Ages 14+

Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month @ 4pm


Interactive kids story time that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, art & crafts, and sensory activities

Tuesdays at 10:30am – Will Resume on the first Tuesday in January, 2023
